Blog Post #53: Instagram - Posting Frankie
I decided to post multiple things of Frankie since she is the main star of my documentary. I know my interview with her did not go well, but I still have her interviewed in my magazine article, so I might as well put the clips to use. I decided to advertise her anyway because I could just say that she is featured in other episodes that weren't the social media one. I think this also helps branch out the advertising because it is showing teasers from the entire documentary and not just one episode.
The first thing I posted has multiple photos. The first one introduces her in a fun way, calling her a fashion icon. This later influenced another post. Anyway, I wanted to introduce her in that way because it makes the audience connect with her more and see a different side of her. Also, it allows me to insert photos of her outfits to seem more "trustworthy" that she knows what she is talking about. Nobody wants to watch a fashion documentary where the person has terrible style. That is originally why I casted her. The rest of the photos shown below are simply just fun pictures of her and her outfits so it seems like a behind the scenes type of post, showing her off as a person and also the main actor.
The second thing I posted of her is simply just a blooper video from when I interviewed her. I took the funniest clip and posted it as a video. It turned into a reel which got more views than any of my posts. I think it definitely gets more attention that way.
I am hoping that when people see these posts of Frankie it makes them interested in the documentary. I want them to see it as a fun and creative project. I will have all of the Instagram posts screenshotted in my final Instagram blog post.
